SCONRAIL is performing and coordinating all activities in order to achieve the EC-type examination certificate in accordance with the TSI_CR_NOISE in collaboration with the accredited test laboratory of PROSE Ltd. These activities consist of the organisation and performance of the noise tests on the TSI conform test track, the preparation of the respective test reports, the assessment of the technical documentation as well as the issue of the respective EC-type examination certificate. The coordination of all these activities through one hand guarantees the respective efficiency, speed and low cost.

SCONRAIL disposes of the technical specialist and inspectors for the supervision of development, design and production of rolling stock, railway constituents of railway subsystems. SCONRAIL is examining, assessing and certifying railway constituents, especially the interoperability constituents. The result of the examination is a declaration of conformity or an EC type examination certificate. The certificates are accompanied by a detailed assessment report.
