ECM Certification

Certification of entities in charge of maintenance (ECM)

The Memorandum of Understanding establishing the basic principles of a common system of certification of entities in charge of maintenance for freight wagons (MoU, Brussels, 14 May 2009) envisages the possibility for the certification of ECM's.

SCONRAIL is accredited as a certification body CB for ECM's and has performed the first audits with freight wagon owners and entities, which are responsible for the maintenance. The first certificates have been issued.
