SCONRAIL gives the Swiss railway industry and its suppliers access to an independent and impartial conformity assessment body and a notified body for interoperability within the country.

SCONRAIL performs inspection and quality assessment tasks commissioned by railway companies or vehicle manufacturers. SCONRAIL performs independent safety asessments for all railway applications

SCONRAIL assesses and inspects interoperability constituents and subsystems of the complete railway system with well establisched know-how and a strong team.

This makes SCONRAIL the Swiss ticket for the European Railways.
